Congratulations Hugo Pereira on successfully completing his Master Programme on Mathematics Applied to Economics and Management 🎉
Hugo’s thesis was developed through a collaboration between Ophiomics and the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa (supervised by Professors Helena Mouriño and Raquel João Fonseca). His work focused on building a health economics model for HepatoPredict, our precision medicine tool for liver transplantation. By quantifying its value in liver transplantation settings, specifically in terms of QALYs (quality-adjusted life years) gained, his thesis has helped us better understand the clinical and economic impact of HepatoPredict, and will guide us toward high-impact avenues for future development.
