We now wish to recruit a Bioinformatician/(Bio)Data Scientist to join Ophiomics’ R&D team.
Job description includes:
- Data analyses in support of our R&D efforts, in particular of internal and public DNA/RNA data
- Development and optimisation of decision algorithms integrating clinical and molecular variables based on machine learning
- Characterisation of algorithm/methods performance and robustness
About you:
You have a MSc or PhD in bioinformatics or related discipline
You have experience in biological data analyses, in particular nuclear acids (NGS)
You have experience in implementation of algorithms and understand strengths and limitations of different algorithmic approaches
You are familiar with molecular (genomic) data
You have prior experience in a research environment
You are a details-oriented person that understands the importance of reproducible work in a clinical setting
You have good communication skills, a versatile, easy-going character and a “can do” attitude.
You have a working knowledge of the English-language

You will integrate the R&D team of Ophiomics and participate in the development, industrialisation and validation of new in vitro diagnostic products. You will report to the scientific director. This is a full time position that requires exclusive dedication. Salary will depend on experience.
