We seek to recruit a PhD holder to integrate our Business Development & Medical Affairs team to assume the function of Medical Science Liaison focused on our liver cancer-directed portfolio.
As Medical Science Liaison you will have a diverse job description, which includes:
- gathering and internally communicate relevant opinions, expert knowledge, medical insights and research from experts to inform and influence the strategic direction of the company,
- identify and interact with key members of the medical community and support our distribution partners in liaising with local opinion leaders,
- providing comprehensive, accurate and timely scientific education on disease states, therapeutic options and research advances to assigned health care professionals,
- manage Ophiomics clinical research collaborations with KOLs and reference hepatology/liver transplantation centres, in particular multi-centre studies for a liquid biopsy for early detection of liver cancer
- collaborate in the development of medical and marketing materials,
- deliver internal and external Medical training,
This is a full time position that requires exclusive dedication, and will involve international traveling. Salary will depend on experience and we will consider both outstanding academic PhD holders that wish to transition to an industry/medical affairs role, as well as more experienced professionals. We wish to fill the vacancy ASAP.
You MUST have a PhD in Life Sciences/Pharmacy, which ideally would be in a Oncobiology/Oncology-related topic or in liver diseases/physiology. You are a:
- Efficient COMMUNICATOR, with a strong ability to evaluate publications on scientific content and communicate to multi-stakeholders, in both small/large group and in person/virtual settings.
- Highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Resolves problems in a thorough and timely manner.
- Attention to detail, High service orientation.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese, and is a must.
- Effective writer.
- Build ongoing and productive relationships,
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Prior experience in clinical research and familiarity with Good Clinical Practice will be valued, as well as specific MSL training/certification.
- Goal-oriented, versatile, easy-going person with a “can do” attitude.
