It is with great joy that we announce that Prof. Christophe Duvoux joined Ophiomics’ advisory board.
(From the ILTS site:) Christophe Duvoux is full Professor of Hepatology and Transplant Hepatogist. He is head of the Medical Liver Transplantation Program at Henri Mondor Hospital-Paris Est University.
He has been chairing ELITA (European Liver & Intestine Transplantation Association) from 2015 to 2019 and is currently past Chair of ELITA. He is also a member of the steering Committee of the European Foundation CLIF. He was a member of the Scientific committee of the French Organization for Organ Sharing (ABM) and a member of the council of the French Society of Organ Transplantation (SFT). He has been Junior Secretary of the European Union Medical School (UEMS) for Organ Transplantation.
He is author or co-author of more than 180 publications dedicated to liver transplantation, including several multicentre collaborative, national and international, studies and European guidelines, resulting in 8870 citations (h index 47).
He has also given more than 120 invited lectures focusing on liver transplantation.
His current topics of interest and research are Liver transplantation for Hepato-cellular carcinoma (including refinement of LT indications for HCC based on new predictive models), antibody-mediated rejection after LT, treatment of HCV liver diseases pre and post transplantation and refinement of allocation rules for both HCC and non HCC patients, based on the development of mathematical models.
