Laboratory Technician (Molecular Biology)

Ophiomics is an ISO 13485 certified medtech company developing precision liver medicine solutions.

We are advancing a portfolio of biomarkers and decision algorithms for different liver diseases, from end stage liver cancer and transplantation decisions, to early stage asymptomatic conditions.We wish to recruit a molecular biology technician to join our team ASAP.

You will integrate the R&D team of Ophiomics and your tasks will be:

• Manufacture of Ophiomics kits;
• Quality control of manufactured kits;
• Clinical validation of our kits;
• Development and industrialisation of novel products.

This is a full time position that requires exclusive dedication. Salary will depend on experience.

About you:

• You have a degree in molecular biology, histopathology, clinical pathology, biomedical science or equivalent.
• You have demonstrable experience in molecular biology, specifically in nucleic acid extraction and real time PCR (we will test you on this!).
• You are a detail-oriented person who understands the importance of reproducible work in a clinical setting. 
• You have good communication skills, a versatile, easy-going character and a “can-do” attitude. 
• You have a working knowledge of the English-language.
