Junior CRA/MSL for liver cancer disease area

We seek to recruit a PhD holder to integrate our team to assume the function of Medical Science Liaison focused on our liver cancer-directed portfolio.

This is a full-time role located in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area for a Junior Clinical Research Associate (CRA)/Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in liver cancer. The Junior CRA/MSL will be responsible for daily tasks including coordinating and managing clinical trials, monitoring research protocols, and supporting clinical operations. The individual will serve as a bridge between clinical research and medical science, ensuring the smooth execution of clinical trials and accurate data collection.

Key Responsibilities:

• gather and internally communicate relevant opinions, expert knowledge, medical insights and research from experts to inform and influence product development, 
• identify and interact with key members of the medical community and support our distribution partners in liaising with local opinion leaders,
• provide comprehensive, accurate and timely scientific education on disease states, therapeutic options and research advances to assigned health care professionals, 
• manage Ophiomics clinical research collaborations with KOLs and reference hepatology/liver transplantation centres, in particular multi-centre studies for a liquid biopsy for early detection of liver cancer
• collaborate in the development of medical and marketing materials,
• deliver internal and external Medical training, 

Qualifications:

• PhD in Life Sciences/Pharmacy, which ideally would be in a Oncobiology/Oncology-related topic or in liver diseases/physiology
• Efficient COMMUNICATOR, with a strong ability to evaluate publications on scientific content and communicate to multi-stakeholders, in both small/large group and in person/virtual settings.
• Highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Resolves problems in a thorough and timely manner.
• Attention to detail, high service orientation.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese is a must.
• Effective writer.
• Build and maintain productive relationships,
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Prior experience in clinical research and familiarity with Good Clinical Practice will be valued, as well as specific MSL training/certification.
• Goal-oriented, versatile, easy-going person with a “can do” attitude.
